Well... the blower part is no good, why blow leaves and sticks; the old wheels do not give enough clearance; the drive is all in the rear section; we have 2, MUCH better, newer, and BIGGER machines. Any more questions?
I already increased the wheel size once, so it did not get high centered on snow balls, it has 16 inch high wheels, so I figure light 26" bike, or motorbike wheels (Knobbies.) I can make the instrument package, to fit on, with the same mount bolts/holes. Just put on a CB and an air horn, and lefferwent! A true Canadianism meaning "let 'er rip!." ;D
Put a big loop out front, go nugget shooting, and never walk. (Except to dig the goodies.) This thing has an 8 horse Tecumseh and runs about 4 hours on a gallon of gas (about $4.81 Can., right now, so $9.62 per day.) :o

We have 3 snow blowers, here, and if I take the oldest one, take the whole blower section off (about 4 bolts,) I can put an instrument section, in its place with caster wheels, plus higher drive wheels (26 inch,) and maybe have a real handy prospecting tool. Sometimes goldigger you dont want others to know what type of gear your using hehehe if everyone knew what we use on some of our trips and expeditions everyone else would be using the same hehehe. ever heard of never letting your left hand know what your right hands doing hehehe this was an exception to the rule and dug it out just to let others know we use other devices apart from detectors hehehe but hey im happy its given you ideas too if your in snowy areas think about scooter or moped wheels they tyres are wider and may not sink into the snow hehehe

This is why I chuckle out loud when I see people asking about "how deep was that target?" when they see a coin find they like. What they're really doing is believing that if they buy a "Brodnoski VisionDig 2000" they will find the same coin you just did because that was the machine you were using. Amazing.

A new video about Gisors, and the history of a prisoner (probably Nicolas Poulain) which would have left engravings dated of 1575, accomplished according to the legend with the help of a simple nail.
The prisoner of the tower left many graffitis.
Some still try to decipher these engravings.

I read your article about the castle and its mystery, perhaps its not a great mystery , perhaps its something as simple as a church built between the Port de la ville and the Port du Gouverneur.
Later in more settled times the church could have been rebuilt 2.000 meters south in the new town using most of the stone from the
castle church, leaving the crypt in situ ,just bricked up.
Look on the map and see the similar size and positions.

Hi Luc, great story :) I was thinking this could be an instance where you could use your academic credentials to your advantage. Simply create an archaeological mapping project of the site and apply for permission to use gpr to look for foundation walls. Non intrusive data collection shouldnt cause to much objection. Then you would have your data.

Does France have a cultural and heritage commission department that has the responsibility of protecting historic Archeological sites?
Is the site owned by the state or privately owned?
Do you know the guide lines of that department policy on the management of such sites?
I think it would be hard to get a permit for a non member of the archeological elite to get access even with a non destructive servery these days.
In England even Archeologists even have apply for a license to dig or survey at designated listed historical site in which they may or may not be allowed to do. I think from memory the head archeologist conservator from English Heritage has final say in his respective region. There is grading system of historical sites with some limited to very strict guide lines. Scotland and Wales have their own versions. I do not know if the system is based on EU existing legislation.
Allan is perhaps the pest person to explain the details or correct my poor memory.

This monument is a historical monument of this fact it is under the auspices of the Ministry of Culture, therefore classified as belonging to the French state (that is why all askings, for excavation depth or in surface or with a radar is subject to acceptance by the concerned department before the department of archaeological research.
