Go Up Go Down

i just recently bought a golden umax and it has taken up much of my free time trying to learn it's language, just when i think i've got it all down pat,the next time i use it,it's back to square one and all double dutch again.one tone or three tones.low, middle and high tone,i feel would be better than the mish mash in the middle.notch feature, what notch?i suppose tesoro had to put something else on the face plate to make it cool.lot of people reckon it's a great detector, but man it's frustrating trying to learn the sounds.which is better, the standard coil or a 7"cc in parks/sports fields? blowfly, bye for now Detecting

Mastering that notch system is a long learning cuvre, at least it was for me. Sometimes I still wondered if where it was set was optimum. It was a smooth running machine and capable coin and jewelry machine though. Traded it off for a F5, better tones,  GB, and more adjustments to fine tone for different hunting conditions.
