does anybody have any experience using the 10? elliptical widescan coil with a Tesoro Vaquero?I?m thinking about getting one, but
I?d like to hear some comments.
I?ve read several opinions on the 5.75? concentric vs. wide scan. Most of what I?ve read had folks leaning toward the widescan. I?m wondering if most folks prefer widescan over concentric when comparing coils of the same size.
My hunting conditions are HEAVY THICK CLAY. The Vaquero has manual ground balance, so I don?t know if the soil is heavily mineralized or not (probably not). Since the soil is so dense here, I?m really selective over my targets. It?s easy to get exhausted in a couple of hours. I typically dig 3 to 4 coins per item of trash.
