I wonder if that is a straight coil in a square plastic box? I wonder if they work as well? Looks like it covers more area though . I just keep thinking about the flow.... doesnt get interupted at angles? I have an open mind though...

Not hard to make at all !! Here is where they sell plastic search-coil housings or you can be creative and make your own search coil form/housing and save more money :

Ok..i got my Eldorado On friday.

Here is a couple of pic's.
I dunno about the coil though. does not seem to have a very big area of field.
But still gotta go out away from home & test her out.
