Hay Dave,

I had an Eldorado. I still have a Euro Sabre, which is almost the same.
It workes better in bad ground than the Vaquuero, in my opinion. That
is where I use my Euro in place of my other machines.

But, it will not work as well as the Lobo series, which is made for such
applications.

The 5.75 in coil is anazing. There are several coils to choose from. But,
remember, it is not the H.O.T. or High Output Technology coils.

But most of the other coild will fit it.

It is a great machine. Super fast recovery and response speeds. It is
spot on.

It can find a little piece of gold jewelry nestled in iron trash, if you are
patient and determined enough to find it. It can not do it alone.

If you take the time to learn it, it will give you another dimention to
your search capabilities.

Happy Huntin,

Tabdog

no worry's thanks for that.
I tested on me way home from Darwin the other day. it was not too bad. But then took it with me the other day to hotter ground & she was a headache. but i did not buy it for the big gold. it will be used for small gold.

i have uploaded a youtube video. 10mins long(sorry) & ground balance was all the way on positive side.In Video i said negative.

Thanks for the video Dave.

I noticed you only used the disc mode once and it broke up.
What was your disc setting? I will thumb mine.

You can not tell by looking at the knob if it is to the positive
or negative. It will turn endlessly. When it reaches the end,
it will keep on turning.

It has 3.5 full turns. If you turn it all the way to the left a few
turns, and then turn it 2 full turns to the right, it will be a little
positive.

That is a good place to start when adjusting tha ground balance,
unless it is already close.

If it gets real far to the right, it will be hard for most machines
to get depth, the Eldorado included, But, some depth is better
than none.. lol

The Eldorado can handle most ground. But some ground is so
bad, you have to buy more detector, and spend wisely, because
some expensive machines may not suit your needs as well as tha
Eldorado.

I like the Eldorado. I do not have a machine that will handle as
bad of ground as the Eldorado and Euro Sabre.

Hope it workes for you,

Tabdog

I would rather hunt than make coils.

I use the 5.75 in concentric coil most
of the time. It is almost as deep as
the 9X8 inch stock coil, and more
sensative. It is thin and light. It
is sweet,
