Go Up Go Down

After racking my brain what I wanted out of a detector, I settled on a Cibola.

I want to get away from bells and whistles and go back to analog and something with better depth. Once upon a time I had a Garrett Badger, sold it for some quick cash....and I miss it. I think I'd rather setup an analog rig and just dig the beep instead of being lied to by this cheap Walmart Bounty Hunter.

anyway... rather excited to be getting this soon... Monday is too far away.

Good choice....especially with the lifetime warranty.   Let us know how it works out for you.   (Looking forward to pictures)

Got it in.... at work, so all I can do at the moment is a bit of air testing.

I have a silver quarter that Im gettin a weak signal from at 14" with the thresh and sens cranked all the way up.

I hope I have enough daylight this afternoon when I get off work...looks like Im gonna have to work all my olds sites for missed targets.

My first impressions are quelling my anxieties.

I got this thing home and I ended up shooting a penny through 3" of asphalt an the dug 12" of dirt till I got to it. Sounded off loud ... not just a whisper. I'm not used to these depths.... my father would have said this was impossible  Shocked

Wow...things have come a long ways. I really need to clock more hours... but I'm a bit mind blown so far.

Yer makin me itchy!!
I'm waitin on my Cibola.
Can't wait to go back over the yard and see how much stuff my FT 7012 missed!
I'll do a air/garden test to see how well it does in our iron rich soil before I do the GB mod and post it.

Got my Chipotle today.
Very cool!
Sooo light!!
Took it out in the yard where I already went over thoroughly with the MD7012 and found 11 more coins in under 2hrs in about a 200sq ft area. Shocked
I'd say it works. Smiley

Chipotle! Lol.

I have been diggin up some awesome stuff in my front yard as well. As well...especially since crankin it down for iron. I gotta get pics up soon. I've been diggin old iron buckle and rivet like things...today... a huge machinery chain.

A couple weekends ago I was at a treasure show in Conroe TX... one guy had a huge display of relics....he told me he found most of it with a cibola.... put a smile on my face.
