Oh, not really.

There are people who get a Tesoro, take it
out once and never use it again.

The others get um used and never use them.

I have had two that were never really used
at all.

Ebay has gotton a little crazy. Some times
they bid lots more than it is worth.

I guess that means they really want it, and
bid real high.

Who knows?

I have only bought one Tesoro new.

That was MisSpeedy.

MrSpeedy just cost me $70.

HH,

Tabdog

I love the uMaxs also. I have two Silvers and a Banidito. Very good machines that work well and are well worth the money they cost, even the new price
that I paid for mine. Happy Hunting !! Ben

That is a nice machine.

It is very much like a Silver Sabre uMax. (not the Silver uMax)
But the Conquistador has a switch to access the all metal mode.
The Silver Sabre uMax only has a red button.

I have a Silver Sabre uMax. I took the button off and replaced it
with a switch. It is now just like the Conquistador except the
Conquistador has frequency shift and the SS uMax does not.

It is a sweet machine. Good luck with it.

Happuy Huntin,

Tabdog

I've owned around 5 OR 6 Tesoros and I think they work best in trash of any detectors around. and they are so comfy to use. I've heard some good things about shadow also-I used one  for a few minutes but not enough to judge it well. Detecting
