Why do you want to take this coil apart? if it's to repair it your chances are very smal.

Never been inside one but the Idea is the same with most coils.     I've always opened them like this guy does.   Problems are how they potted them and with what.  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0OwrkEOpPiQ
