Is there such thing as a Tesoro Bandit Max 2 (or something like that).  One of my co-workers has this model (if I got the name right) and said it's one of the best you can buy.  I couldn't find anything like it on their website.

Rick

Hello RIck,

I think there is a Bandito uMax 2. However the Tesoro models except the Lobo & Tejon series mainly use the same circuit. I would recommend a DeLeon for coin shooting. Same circuit as the way more expensive Cortes.

Regards,

Christian

Thanks Christian:
I believe you hit the nail on the head.  I'm more interested in both coins as well as bottle hunting.  Not sure which model I am going to need, but building one is not out of the question either.  My father in law used a metal detector a lot when looking for bottles in old abandoned dumps.

Hello Rickster . We have several Tesoro schematics in our "Tech Talk" area . The Bandido is good but the Golden sabre projects are  [deeper with better discrimination] ....... You have enough posts to check-out and download anything that might interest you . Any questions please ask us !!

Best Regards..................Eugene52

Thanks very much Eugene:  This will give me lots to brush up on my electronics background.   Been away from it for a little while.  I wasn't able to find the golden sabre project.  Would you be so kind as to point me there.  Is it in the geocities website?

Thanks again!!!

Rick

Hello Rickster , Everything you need is right here on Thunting.com !!! After you log-in hit the [message board] at the top of the page , then scroll almost halfway down you will see a "Tech Talk" area , and it is full of categories that include electronic construction projects of Metal Detectors , both PI and VLF .....plus a bunch of other stuff . You do not need to go to geocities !!!!

Best Regards..............Eugene

Eugene:
I went to  the "Tech Talk" area, but couldn't find the schematic for the Golden Sabre Project.  I thought maybe it was tucked away in the Geotech Forum somewhere.  Can you give me some direction as to where in the Tech Talk forum I can find that schematic.  I've looked all over.  Thanks

Hi Eugene, I would also like to get copies of the Golden Sabre files, I didn't realise you had posted them. I don't know if you remember, but back in Febuary I said I would like to build the Golden Sabre for my next project as you recommended it as the better than the ..Bandido.. and ..Eldorado..

best regards Mike.

Hello Everyone . Remember when I posted a new thread 2 months ago that was a download and read only area called "Do-it yourself Surprise Folders !!! It is now gone !!!! It included complete Golden Sabre and the latest Golden sabre light versions and many other schematics which by the way are also posted on several international websites all over the internet !! So , It is nothing to do with copyrights , it was removed because of a space /storage issue of this forum . So at the present time many schematics seem to be missing . I am not mad , just very dissappointed !!!......Sorry for the inconvenience that this has caused  .   Best Regards to Everyone....Eugene
