My new Deleon is going crazy. Took it to the beach for the first time (on dry sand only) and could not get it to run stable, numbers going all over the place in both all metal and discriminate modes, chirping all the time even with the sensitivity turned down. Today I took it to a field and the same thing happening, there was no power lines in sight, checked the coil connector, replaced batteries with new ones - no go Angry.
I can't understand it, this is a brand new unit Cry Anyone got any ideas?

Cheers,

Return it to the dealer.  See if they can repair it.  If not, see if they will replace it.  Good luck!   Detecting
