Man, i didn't think you were going to finish that reply before the auction ended.  Grin  So it is a personal choice and not so much that the Compadre is a better machine than the Cutlass II, right? I may be able to get the Cutlass for under $100. If so, i may go for it. Thanks for the info.

As I said, most Like tha Silver Sabre.

Which is very close to tha Cutless II.

It is a nice coin and jewelry machine

Well i bid the Cutlass II up to $100. Wasn't going any higher than that for it. Will keep looking for a good deal on a Cibola or Vaquero, possibly a Silver Umax.

Hello Rebel . Here is a good link of used Metal Detectors , most machines are priced pretty decent and some are over-priced  . But at least you can check out prices and pictures of different machines . This link is not e-bay so hopefully the sellers are honest or you can pick up the Item in person if it is located  near to where you live or get insurance to fully cover the detector before shipping !! .............Regards.........Eugene

Thank you for the link. I already picked up a detector from a fella on another forum who has a detector business. Not a Tesoro though. Ended up with an Ace 250. Will see how i like it.

Well, i never made it to the beach with the Discovery so i don't know how it does there. The Ace should be here by next Monday i hope and then i have to get a chance to drive over to the coast to try it. Will let y'all know what happens. Take care.
