Hey guys my girlfriend and i have recently started metal detecting, and really enjoy it. We live in Wichita Falls and would love any suggestions as to where we could go to detect anything really. So far we have just found coins, but only newer years. So any pointers, suggestions, or tips would be greatly appreciated.

Sidewalks are always good for a variety of finds. Go out your front door, search the path between it and your street on both sides. Do it carefully and then do it again. Then, turn right and seach both sides of the sidewalk or foot path. Continue until you are too tired to go on and return, searching again as you do so. Tomorrow, turn left and repeat.

It's all about that moment when metal that hasn't seen the light of day for generations frees itself from the soil and presents itself to me.
