I don't know too much about Oregon areas, however, I do know that in Arizona - like in the Superstitions - where growing pot isn't really practical - "cooking" drugs is a big thing. (and dangerous for both "cookers" and those who wander too close).

You have to be watchful all around you.  Not paranoid - just careful and watchful.

Down here 20 miles from the Border the last thing you want is to be seen.  LOL

The Border Patrol pesters you about every hour as it is.

The bad mans are out there.

Funny thing is if the Border Patrol see you have a side Arm, they talk to you with RESPECT!

Other wise they just Yell and Tell you what to do.

Funny how the Ability to Defend your self changes the attitude of even the LEO!

We have them all here!    Good Guys! The Sheriff.

BAD Guys, the Local .

Good Guys, the State police.

Bad Guys the Mexican Federales on our side of the Border and don't even know there doing wrong..

Good Guys the Border Patrol when they have there Chit together and don't stop you 6 times on the same road in a hour or so.

The dang Locals down in the boot heel are all paid off.    You don't know if there good or bad.

Same just 20 miles from my home.   Down in Columbus you could be pulled over by the Cartel and shot.    You JUST DON"T KNOW!
