I am not seeing the problem gold is the easiest thing in the world to sale. There are dealers everywhere that will buy dust if you feel you need to tell them a story about it tell them you have been panning in Calf.  5 grand is only 3 or 4 20 dollar gold pieces  easy to sale to any coin dealer, if its  5 grand face value thats what 250 $20 gold coins just sale 5 or 6 to different dealers keeping all deals under 10 grand. Only a fool would talk about where they came from but if pushed they are from your collection or your grandpa left them to you. The thing is no one is going to ask anything more then if they are stolen are not.

Yes, common sense will carry you a long ways, but how do you find a buyer?  Do you just look in the yellow pages?  Does anyone know a reliable, HONEST dealer they can recommend?

A dealer for what Tig dust are coins. Any coin dealer will buy the coins for 50 to 80 percent of book value if you want to move a few at a time ebay is a good  way to get max value. What state are you in?
