Yes, I said forget using a pouch when you go out in the woods looking for treasure/relics. Get yourself a hunting/photographers vest with pockets. It is better for your back, because you redistribute the weight of the items in different pockets. Plus, you can take better care of the more delicate things you find and not have to worry about them getting crunched by other things during the day. I have one vest for the winter and one for the summer. Best of all, a vest like this is pretty cheap and readily available. I bought both of mine off of eBay.

I CUT ONE OF THE ENDS OUT OF DUFFLE BAG~USE THE CARRY STRAPS AS STRAPS LIKE BACKPACK~ALL KINDS O POCKETS & CAN LOAD WHATEVER~JUST DROPS RIGHT IN~CAN EASILY OVERLOAD IT TO(SO TO SPEAK)W/GOOD STUFF STICKIN WAY OUTTA THE TOP FOR WHEN YOU COME ACROSS BIG TIME FINDS

Couple of good tips, thanks. I don't have a hunter/photo vest, sounds like a good idea. I do have a Camel cig bag that sounds about the same. Someone must of smoked a few thousand cigs to get it. Real quality leather and canvas loaded with pockets etc..

I made up a rig from military padded belt straps, but instead clip the ends to a leather belt that has holes punched along the whole length. You can clip everything to it for a comfortable carry.

I'm already using my old photo vest, with 16 pockets. A waist pouch gets in the way when bending down, plus it feels like my pants are falling down.
