Minelab Excalibur 1000

Hi y'all need a little information

I have a minelab Excalibur 1000 with the BBS technology .I know it's for underwater use . my question is can I use it on a clay Riverbed that has no water at all has been totally dry for the past five or six years' It has rocks and gravel. What do you think? be better off trying to get a different metal detector

The word is that the Excalibur is a Sovereign in disguise. It’s a Sovereign in a water proof box.
Other than been a bit heavy I think you will do well.
