Has anyone used non whites coils that might offer greater depth and higher sensitivity settings for the whites spectrs v3?  Chewy.

I don't think you can find a better coil for the V3i than the coils that Whites make, there are all sizes available for any detecting situation and they are made in the USA and have a 2 year warrenty which can't be beat.

Chewy you wont get any coils as good as the whites coils, all after market coil are not compatable with the V3i even the std DFX coils are no good for that machine, all coils must be V RATED, and although the other coils will work you will not be able to turn the machine right up, look at the lugs where the coil bolt goes through there will be a V then a number if it has no V then its no good
don't buy any Whites coils with out the V on it, the ones made for the dfx made by other companies will not work well, because you
machine is more powerful

G day again if you want more depth get the 12"/300 coil dispite what others say i use it in iron infested sites, that is V RATED and will work well ,as well as being very sensitive, i've found my best finds with this coil so check it out, but you will not find it on the coil list that is in your machines software and it is recomended to set it to the 950/9.5 coil, hope this helps

john
