Shoot dog thats huge a list without knowing anything about you or what your planning on doing. Do you have any mountain man in you ? If not dont go into the mountains not by your self unless you want to come out as animal droppings.
What mountains are we talking about ? Are you aware of the animals around like bears and mountain lions or grey wolves ? Have you got a gun to protect your self with ? Camping supplies, first aid, compass, walkie talkie, needle and thread, basic survival pack ? I can make up one heck of a list but you have to give me more information. If your just prospecting your gonna want a good metal detector for gold like the MXT, gold pans, small shovel, pick, sluice, classifiers, food , water, all kinds of stuff..
How big a list you want, how long you going for ?

Okay well currently me and my friend are looking at the lost wagoner's mine in the superstitions and we have routes planned and all, but we just need a basic list for a two night trip. We're looking for rose quartz that is laced with gold

If your going into the Superstitions water water and more water. Most of the water holes on maps are dry 10+ months a year. If you don't have basic survival skills you will end up like many others that have gone in unprepared.

How far are you planing on going in?
