just re read the posts here, golddigger1950, sometimes, its not just the shiney stuff that is most important/valuable  but other things come 1st. family., community. without it you are worthless. no matter how many figures come after the dollar sign , or the value  of your own history.(if that makes sense)


Amen to that. The only exception for me is a find of significant historical value. I found the site of an original township (founded circa 1649) a long time ago and turned the information over to the local historical society for research and preservation. Got my name on a plaque for that. Woo hoo!
