What, you never noticed that dogs sniff each other there? My Labrador does lab tests all the time. The cat next door does cat scans. Together, they have a land office business going.

It's all about that moment when metal that hasn't seen the light of day for generations frees itself from the soil and presents itself to me.

They call them cyclones down here but they're hurricanes. We had one come south to Perth last week but by the time it got here, it was just a lot of rain. The east coast is catching it this year. Disaster after disaster. I'm so tapped out from giving to  fund raisers that I'll need one for me pretty soon. I just can't help myself. I see people needing things like water in the middle of a 7 meter flood and it just breaks this crusty old heart.

Yes, we're OK over here but some of our members are living rough right now having lost everything to the floods. I won't mention any names right now. I'm sure they'll come by to tell their tales later when things settle down.

Thanks for the update GD, Will be saying a prayer for them, I heard this morning on the news , No Deaths , reported with this last cyclone, which is a good thing. I hope the Aussie Govt. Doesnt screw people around like ours does. there are people here in Nashville still waiting on help from last Mays Floods.
