Bear spray ,,and bring a dog if your in the wood's be very carefull of the cougar's ,,I use to live in BC ,,,

ok , so bring Jack Russel along and teach him to short the 38 mag--  Bears or Dog& gun--hmmmm- got it!

Real that is a good idea- a dog!  I guess Im ready for a dog again, been a while. I'll take Bear spray too.

True BS!    A dog will See, Hear, Smell things way before you have clue what is going on.

Bear Spray is going to have 0 effect on a 900lb brown bear that has decided you need to be gone.

We only have little Black Bears down here in New Mexico.

Except for raiding your camp for food they scamper most of the time.

Last year we had a guy killed  60 yards from his front door and  ate by a lion 1/4 of a mile from were I go gold panning.
