Wife and I returned to the beach this evening ... I was in the water til dark with little to show for it so decided to join the wife and drag the sand ... Typical finds with plenty of trash and then kablamo --- Whites MXT 300 is reading Silver Dollar ... I laugh and think wow, this is going to be a large washer. Out from the scoop pops this 1995 Silver Eagle and then - When rescanning the hole, just a couple of inches over comes a 1935 Buffalo Nickel... The condition of the coins is exactly as found, so these could only have been dropped within the last 24 hours, otherwise, the sand/salt would have turned them black.

Looks like the kid got into pops coin collection and now he's a few pieces lighter.

Happy Hunting!

The buffalo is indeed a great piece. I hope to find some next year in Puerto Rico

Those coins sure look nicely preserved.  The nickle especially for being 75 yrs old.   Shocked   Clapp
