Go Up Go Down

It was the site of a World War 1 Camp. Did not find much. High lights I guess is what I think is some tack from a horse or a mule. Any idea or confirmation? They had corrals there. One solid lead bullet, just not sure if from then or later. A gas hose brass fitting they used the old rubber hoses on. That again not sure about a date. Could be fairly modern. We hit two spots the second spot turned up a bunch of no cash value tokens and a 1988 1,000 Mexican peso, a few memorial cents. We were talking about the tokens and it may have been some kind of metal detector hunt for kids. They seemed strewn all over the place. First one I found thought it was something good. It has a shield and a eagle on top. But got the reverse cleaned and saw the no cash value.

Go Up Go Down

We found out the tokens were from a local metal detector club hunt in the 90's. We found the latrine and some bread ovens foundations. Planning a trip back for a different area.
