28 cents was a loaf of bread and probably some milk to? Nice find indeed! This is why they drilled holes in there coins to run a string though them and tie um to there belt.  Clapp

It was a pretty good size hole. Spread out over 12" or so. Still love looking at the pictures!  Shocked

nice finds !  another reason to all ways recheck hole after finding somthing and its nice when you can get so many great finds at one time  i have dug alot of clad since i started  when i look at just what i have brought out i think dad gum that was a hole for practically everyone of these not to mention the junk dug  up lol! could you guys and gals imagine if we could all total up the amount of hole we have all dug  whew  thats more holes than daisey  has BB'S  I bet lol! thanks for sharing  josey
