Have you checked out the gold item?
You never know until you check it out.
Are there any marks on it?
 Lots of items found.
 Keep on scooping them up.

The iPhone doesn't seem to want and power up. But I haven't messed with it too much yet. No markings on the item that might be gold. I don't have a test kit.
It felt like one of those days where your just supposed to find a gold ring. I was following the tide out, pulling nickels and quarters and junk charms. Some times I wonder if I had a PI or a CTX3030, would I find more? I hunt with my CZ-20 in all metal so  I'm digging everything.

The CTX won't come within A Bulls Roar of a PI, because all it takes is some black sand under the surface and it is stuffed, My TDIs will smoke the CTX, and if there is Iron junk under the surface the CTX will Null out causing you to miss targets unless you run it with the screen wide open and even then it won't have the Power.

Thanks Ridge Runner. The TDI is based on an Eric Foster design right? I wish it came housed in a water proof casing. What do you think of the Garrett ATX as a wet beach sand machine?

The ATX has a little less depth than the TDI Pro but If you can handle the weight then they are a Brilliant machine, And they are Tough because they are Basically the Garrett Recon  Mine Detector but with a few changes and they are pretty hot on small Gold, and they are waterproof where the CTX/GPZ are only water resistant.
