A lot of work for little amount coins. Both parks I have hit before just widening the search area. But some different finds any ways. 2 quarters, 1 dime, 1 nickel, 4 cents, 1 Greece 2002 50 euro cent, 1 bullet, piece of copper tubing to go in my copper pile, levi straus button, 2 unknown metal pieces found in the two different parks. The upper left side piece is kind of strange. Heavy iron chunk not going to say meteorite. Especially since none show up in the area listing. I did find some postings on meteorite sightings though in the area. But when I get a chance I am going to grind and polish it to see the pattern. The euro cent was a strange find also. I have found other foreign coins though. Just far and few between.
Close up showing some of the lines. Under heavier magnification then this there are a lot more of the lines showing in the same area. There isn't any smelters near and the nearest rail road line is a few miles. I'm not sure since it does have melted areas, but they could be done by a torch or from smelting. Anyways I'm going to bring it to a guy I know who works for the Houston Museum of Natural Science Saturday.
