Hello everyone, I have a very nice photo of a seal matrix I found recently in France. See what you think. I believe that it belonged to a lady called Ida Lourac, because that is what it reads after the 's'. If anyone could throw more light on this item, I would appreciate it. I want to find out who this person was, if that is possible!! And I wonder if it is a religious seal or a seal from a noble family? It is one inch across, and about a sixteenth of an inch thick. I found it in a very isolated spot in rural France - I did not expect to find much at this location, it is really very uninhabited. I imagine the poor lady was robbed......
