The "gold buyers" here only pay for the metal value.
they ask you to remove the stones before they put them on a scale.
by the look of it, it may be a 2.5-3 grams 14k ring.
3 grams at 58.8% gold make it 1.749 grams and at today's gold price of $42.90 per gram
its only $75.00
if the gold price was the same at the time he was making $10.00 on it.(if he was going to scrap it)

I'll just put it on Fleabay....er EBay and get what I want for it. LOL. Worth more to someone wanting a wedding ring than a jeweler.
