today found a piece of very brittel piece of copper that looks threaded ,mabe some sort of cap.also a piece of a old pot.but the solid lead peice on the right looks like a fishing weight,but there is no where to tie the line.and no place nearby to fish with a large weight like this,at least 2 oz. Wise

Awesome dig for a lunch break! Never can tell what comes out of the ground, makes you wonder what these items could have been used for.

Hard to tell but the old fishing weights were all lead even on the top (narrow end) hich had an eyelet.possibly broke off. Or depending on the shape it might have a hole all the way thru it. If it is a cone shape it might be for a Texas rig set up.

THe house was built in the 1st quarter of the 18th century and was destroyed in the first quarter of the 19 th century,in the year 1722 Dr.Samual Pagett received 2000 arces in grants from the lord propiroters,in which there was already a brick house known as Blenheim.
