Go Up Go Down

Hi All,
Went to the same site we visited the last 3 outings, the site is quite large and we now do some considerable walking to get to a new area before we "switch on" so of course the first three things I find are two horse shoes,3 large hinges Huh? and an axe head which I had to carry around for hours I did finally re bury the hinges at the base of a tree to lighten the load, I really cant understand the horse shoe thing I always find them.
A bunch of musket balls again and a VERY nice 1824 5 Frank piece in beautiful condition "by my detecting buddy" lucky son-of-a-gun.
I took a pic of a few musket balls on a piece of Fungi it made a nice back drop......HH....Johnnn

Hi Twiasp,
The smaller one could be an 1812 shoe, the larger one is a "cast" steel shoe for working the horse in icy conditions maybe 1920's....HH....johnnn

More nice finds Johnnn!  Weather must still be staying good in your area, so far.
