Hi all!
I was fortunate enough to find an 1891 nickel today, that is really patina'd.  Any suggestions on how to get it cleaned?

Unless it is really dirty and in horribly worn condition, I wouldn't clean it that thoroughly.  Cleaned coins lose a huge amount of collector value.  Just take the surface dirt off of it and let it be.   By the way, congratulations on such a great find!                Detecting

Thanks Arfie, That is what I thought, it is worth 3$ in bad condition.  I just thought it was so cool to find it!  Of course I wonder about who dropped it back in the day Smiley
