Hi All, had a very nice day to day weather was very warm, another cap badge and an axe head two silver coins, large penny some  live WW1 blanks one live round dated 1912.
Have you ever wondered how old the pen knives are that we find? well I found two in the same hole and with them two 1941 pennies in VG condition so they were lost very close to that date 70 years of corrosion has left them in the usual condition..............HH............Johnnn

Very good work, Johnnn! It is heartbreaking to see those ruined knives. How great they would have been in the day.

Must be hunting around an old military encampment.  There is some neat stuff and makes a great display.  Good luck on the next hunt!
