Went out to day Detecting for 90mins and then the sun came out and it got to hot [29cen] Just as well i had a great 45mins and made all my finds .Found 3 hammered coins and 1 bad william 3rd sixpence 1697 .The first hammered i found was a bad short + penny of Kind John ,next was my BIG GOLD HAMMERED COIN [28 mm] Date not found yet .and then i found a Elizabeth 1st 1580 Threepence . So i had a short but GREAT 90mins  Detecting Detecting

The only thing we have close to finding gold like that is the Treasure  Cost of east Florida.  Man I wish we had more.   Less then Three Hundred years old we just don't have goodies like that.

Hi SF,
Your gold coin is a middle eastern coin as the lettering is in Arabic...tell us more when you have I D'd it, found in the UK it has done some mileage to get there..HH...johnnn

Have been told by christ webb of DIX NOONAN WEBB [London Dealer ] coin is a Morocco 17 century ,quite scarce  Detecting
