Go Up Go Down

Visited an old no longer used local dump today, spent about 3 hours nosing around. Found all these goodies without even digging much and can ya believe it? The watch even still works and holds good time. Says a lot for TIMEX watches. Been buried in the dump and still keeps on ticking.

I think the 3 bigger bottles are old whiskey bottles, all the bottles are "cork" type, not twist caps.

Notice the big bowl? Was half buried and not even a scratch or crack anywhere. The wife snatched it up quick.

The Timex ad campaign "Takes a licking and keeps on ticking" was so effective because it was true, and not just a lot of hyped hooey.

your right heathen, all the fish were found together and they're ceramic. Far as the guitar hero & drums, that's my 11 year old sons toys. All I can do on them is make a bunch of noise. LOL Got to admit, it was a fun day and didn't really take any work to speak of except to walk around and look on the ground.

The wife says the best find today was the crystal bowl.
