Kango41,
Have you ever found anything (product/process) that helps in removing the 'green cancer' from coins?  I find a lot of  my coins in similar condition and I try to carefully remove it but very limited success. I have also read articles about electrolysis, etc but again, limited success.Coloma Gold

hiya coloma gold i use vinegar and salt to remove the green cancer, i use an old jam jar or similar but enough vinegar in jar to cover the coin and a sprinkle of salt mix it up then put the coin in leave for an hour then flip the coin over and leave for another hour then take coin out and scrub in warm water with an old toothbrush if theres alot of green cancer i will mix up some fresh vinegar and salt and leave over night then scrub and pick the green off with a wooden toothpick the 1806 george 3rd half penny and the two small buttons were left over night hope this helps krango  Smiley
