I had the car all packed up by 7am and hit the road. The digging was rough going.

Six hours later, lots of dug holes and this was the result. (I won't bore you
with the two shopping bags full of trash)

The keepers were two pretty charms.

Cheers,

Mike

It's all about that moment when metal that hasn't seen the light of day for generations frees itself from the soil and presents itself to me.

Nice chunk of change! Any day out under the sun is better than spending it indoors IMO. You'll find the good stuff next time!

Nic hunt MMike,

I got lots of hot days down here.

It is a little too much enjoyment for me.

I usually melt around 9:00am with temps

already in the 90s and humid as all get out.

But I still manage a short hunt most days.

Thanks fer sharin,

Tabdog

Hello MMike !!! Considering the "hard-pan" dirt , you did pretty good !!  Is all the soil in Canada like concrete or just where you live ? Thank-You for posting .

The soil in my part of Southern Ontario is pretty good. We have had a very wet spring and summer so the diggging has not been all that bad. Although I have broke two Friskers

Cheers,

Mike
