Go Up Go Down

Greetings...

Had a chance to go out last weekend and tried out my new detector at my daughters house in Greenbrook, NJ.  The houses have been there since the 1920s. Picked up a GTI 2500 and couldn't be more pleased. Being retired, I don't need to dig up everything that sounds good and that is why I picked the 2500 for the discrimination and sizing. It was so good to be able to "size" the hits and not dig all the tin cans that are still buried in her yard. Found five coins in just a bit over an hour.... a 2005 dime, three other clad pennies from the 1970s and one wheatie... from 1944.  The oldest I've found so far. Shame it was not a steel penny or I could have paid for my detector 4 times over. I intend to go back after I've figured out what signature the steel cent will give me and take another shot at her back yard.

 Smiley
