Go Up Go Down

Had a pretty good haul.. maybe a penny or two, but lots of interesting things. As you can see from the picture mostly shells from hunters. Even some unfired!
What I couldn't figure out was the item at the top. I almost wondered if it was some sort of car part? It has a hole going through the center of it about 1/2" in diameter. The middle 'lip' looks to be painted red. My eyes aren't that great, so not sure if there's writing on it or not - I guess I could try to clean it up and check. Oh next - is that a beer or soda top? I've never seen one of those with the 'whole top' on there before?

The one small part that's broken off looks to be maybe a piece to a faucet? Just to the lower left of the lead weights in the upper right corner is this silver colored 'thing'? On the outside edges each of the three sections it has a screw into it, and it looks like some sort of company logo embossed into it as well?

Here's a couple of close-ups for that strange item?? Does this help at all? It's pretty heavy too. Maybe made of steel? I just put it on my scale - it weighs just over 8 oz.

Yea.  Does the hole go through it ?  Could be part of a shock or something.

By the looks of all those shells, the local ducks don't have a chance! Grin

I wasn't by any water up there in the benches - so I'm guessing that they were either just blasting away (target practicing) or going after rabbits & squirrels.

There seems to be lots of activity there when it comes to target practice.
Nice assortment of odds and ends. It just shows that you are digging everything up.
