Interesting things Captnbad!  How big is the item in the 2nd picture?  It all looks pretty neat to me!  Keep it up and keep on swingin'!  Thanks for showing them.   Detecting

The Odorless Refrigerator Company apparently became Keyser Refrigerator about 1900.   Keyser Refrigerator is important because they were central in a series of Congressional hearings designed to limit the work day to 8 hours.  This tag would have been off of one of the old "ice boxes" that used block ice.

Go Up Go Down

piece reads Jeffery Mfg Co, 7 14 Col O.

This piece measures 14" long and 6" deep and is heavy.

Lime pulvers made by the Jeffrey Manufacturing Company of Columbus,Ohio, 1914. Lime pulvers crushed limestone to powder that farmers applied to fields to enrich soil and increase crop yields. Pulvers were belt-driven machines, powered by either steam or gasoline engines. This piece was on the belt as a scooper with many others.

The first picture is obviously an axe head. From the shape, I would say probably a "Blue Grass". Great finds and keep  Detecting
