Thank's! The soil on the coins is a complex. Universal method of cleaning does not exist. I was once told that I prefer electrolysis, as the best option.

Cleaning coins with Electrolysis
(For those who do not know). As a source of electricity, I use the AC adapter from the mobile phone. And instead of the electrode, I use a stainless steel spoon. Nothing complicated, just have to try it.

Folks if you do it this way keep the Current as low as you can or Bad Bad things can happen Real fast.

On Silver Coins Best to Try this one first.   Can't or Will not hurt and may do the job for ya.

Those coins cleaned up fantastic!! Wonderful finds there! The picture of the last one (with the hole in it) may have been on a necklace I'm guessing.
