Two or three hours on the 2nd day with my MXT at a local old Park. I am thinking this place has to have been hammered by other MD junkies. The 1946 Roosevelt Dime and 1940 Wheat Penny were found at over 4"! I am amazed at the depth of this MXT...must be we have good soil here although I seem to dig 20 (probably more) holes for every decent find! I have yet to dig a pull tab with this unit...With my Micronata 3001 that was all I ever dug! LOL! I dig a lot of iron and bits of aluminum and bottle caps. I also have dug many holes that were deep and still getting readings so I give up. Holes were about 12" and I decided to stop digging. It is set to the suggested starting spots in coin mode. I am still on the learning curve but finds like these get me all excited! It is going to only get better
While at the old park yesterday, I was constantly bothered by people who seem to live in the park...I bet I spoke to twenty of them...never stopped detecting but what a pain. I feel like wearing a sign, NO CIGARETTES - NO SPARE CHANGE!
