Dears,

my new focus area is close a one river close my home. I am looking for old roads in the forests and in the sand fields for artifacts and coins. So, after 3 trips before sunset and half day in the forest you can see any finds, if you like it. The button with double eagle is probably from 1806 year, then Russian troops supports Austrians against Napoleon forces in Europe before Leipzig (it is in Germany) battle. This button was lost in May this year :-).

Bronze hunters arrow is older, I have no right ID from museum, ´cause my historian has been a holiday now. The bird rings, it is an interesting; they were at one place, probably rest of illegal hunt there. I will try asking some agency in National museum what registered it, if I have not to be a lazy too much. We will see.

And silver coin, it was, it’s damaged hardly, Christian Ulrich 3 grosches, its means ¾ kreuzer, called groeschel, minted in Wurtzumberg, Olesnitz in Silesia, I am not able read year, and, by my experience, it is between 1699-1703 years. Weight was for new coin 0,41 gram, and in this case it is low.

Regards

Well done! Nice finds. This is really a military button mid-19th - early 20th century. (Unfortunately, this button is not related to the war with Napoleon). Button factory was founded by brothers Buch only in St. Petersburg in 1816. Arrowhead is very interesting, I would like to know its history
