After 4+ years, I've finally convinced Mrs BA that while I am more than willing to make sure all of her equipment is assembled and checked prior to the trip in return for her concentrating on preparing proper vittles once we get to the field it is now HER responsibility to assemble and/or adjust her own equipment as needed.  I am no longer responsible for ground balancing etc.   As for the complaining about me finding more than her:  A) she IS the nail queen and B) even if I find more "keepers" than she does, she usually winds up finding better quality items.  (I think her ear is better at discerning signals than mine....either that or she is combining her dowsing ability with the abilities of the detector.)

I definitely consider myself lucky to have her.....and since you know her, you've got a lot more insight into why I do than most of the folks on this board.
