Well Nuga Yoda, the place I'm hunting right now is not yeilding much. An occasional old coin or two but nothing older than 1902 if my fleeting memory is correct. I spend a lot of time digging nails Undecided

. I'm sure that if I got a chance to go back to the beaches of Boracay or if I could visit Palawan I would cash in BIG!! Cool

My problem is my work keeps me from getting away to play and the nearest beach is 1.5 hours away and it isn't used by tourists and the Filipinos aren't as big on swimming and/or sunbathing as we are in the states (They don't want to get darker, they want to get whiter hence the hundreds of skin whitening products here) I guess I just have to be patient for a while 'til I get a chance to break away. I have a friend here that MDs and he is looking to buy a chopper (he was a pilot in the military). Wheeee doggie we gonna be island hoppin' and bipity boo bop rockin'. Detecting

I'm feelin' giddy just thinkin' 'bout it. HH everybody!

Sounds like great fun KD.

On the hunt, it is also quite a similar situation here. The beach does not yield much. But I go round it by looking at the nearest food or drink hawker stalls located there. Coins are usually found around this perimeter. In order not to arouse curiosity I normally go on Monday morning, where the stalls are already packing up.

Ya they do go to beaches here as well, fully clothed!! Shocked

Yep Nuga Yoda I was shocked the first time I went to a beautiful beach in Pagudpud and there were 0, nilch, absolutely NO bikinis! Grin

Well that's just my luck I guess but Boracay and Palawan are completely different..... lots of tourists means lots of bikinis. Wink

Kinda makes it hard to keep your rhythm swingin' an MD haha.

FarmDigger, I sure hope that happens soon. I ain't gettin' no younger Grin
