I got back to the same site, not quite as hot today. The site gave up acouple more, the 1851 large cent was a welcome find. The silver dime is worn, it is between 1858-1901. The glass stoppers are always a welcome find. HH

I get red but not from cold here is the SW.  Had heat exaustion a few years back and just can't hack the heat any more.  Then again winters here aint like up north Grin  I just gotta find a place where the temps are between 70 and 90F, where I can detect and have a beer.  Is that too much to ask?   Devil

the cent is really cool - the glass bottle stopper - is it from a medicince bottle? Cheesy

It could be from a food bottle, spice sauce early 1900s time period.

Kind of looks like an old perfume bottle stopper.
