ive never seen one before and didnt know glass batterys where made,google says they where invented by eddison and made late 1800s.

I think that you have a very good find there. Not too many of them must still a around in that condition being glass, so if I were you I'd take it to the museum and find out how rare is it really. Could be that it's worth something.
