Go Up Go Down

Hello again. Got in a few hunts this week after work and a beach hunt last weekend.
The beach was really are first attempt at this location and had varied results. We found lots of trash, hair pins, bottlecaps, etc, but managed to find some coins as well. I managed to find a small 925 silver pendant with I think an amethyest in the middle. The wife wants it so it must be good!
The beach eventually started filling up,the bikinis were getting in the way, Wink so we moved on to a few small parks and called it a day.
Hope you all had a great week and looking forward to getting out this weekend and try an old schoolhouse nearby. It's probably been hit before, but got some tips from a book I just read,"Coin Hunting...In Depth" by Dick Stout. Going to mess around with my depth and threshold settings and use my new 12" coil.

Wish me luck and thanks for looking! Smiley

Go Up Go Down

Hi Mike. We have to go back, I'm sure we missed alot. We were there for about 2 hours before it began filling up. My son was shown near the boat launch area.
What is interesting as a side note. What led me to this area was some info on an old "See me Bathe" area, a popular summertime hot-spot from the 30-40's, located somewhere near this beach area we were at. The area, in Shoreview,MN, was a popular area for the gangsters vacationing from Chicago, IL. More research will help me, but that's how I came upon this small beach and picnic area
