It's all about that moment when metal that hasn't seen the light of day for generations frees itself from the soil and presents itself to me.

What in tha world is goin on?

F2.... Change tha batteries again. Check coil connections.
Man!!! that sucks....

<>

I made it out this mornin when it was a little cooler. Not much
in tha way of finds though.

<>

I sell most of the gold jewelry I find. Most goes to Mid West
Refinery. I have saved some with nice stones or if they are
old, or special, I will keep it.

<>

I was in the Bomb Squad and a few other bands years ago.
Those days stopped with my first born son. But I still keep
a bass and a flat top by my bed.

<>

Minelab seems to make some good ones and some that just
aint very good. I do not know how many times some one has
complained that their Minelab would not pick up a small gold
item. ( even some of the high dollar ones ) Even if they were
less than 1/4 inch from tha coil.

I see tha photos and know that my Tesoroes would have no
problem with those, because I have found much smaller stuff
in the ground. When I start showing photos of the tiny stuff I
find, it must hurt their feelings.

I have caused an uproar in tha Minelab community a time or
two.... lol

Sure hope you can keep her swingin and singin til ya can get
things straitened out.

Bust whishes,

Tabdog

The Minelabe x-Terra series get high marks from me for certain. I tried one once that a friend let me use for about 10 minutes. Rock stable signal and super target pinpointing were two things I remember.

Like all Minelabs, They're a bit pricey.

Hay Gold Digger,

Sorry to get the old Minelab thing going.
I did not mean to start a brand bash.

I have never used a Minelab. But I have
no doubt that they make some very fine
machines, if not some some of the very
best.

I have seen reports of other machines that
have trouble with small gold. It is my guess
that includes most of the intry level and mid
range machines. But, it also includes some
highe priced machines.

But, that is neither here nor there. Picking up
small gold is important to me, but others say
they do not want to waste their time trying
to find it.

I have not tried Minelab for three reasond.
1. most are too heavy
2. most are too expensive
3. the ones I can afford get low marks

Happy Huntin,

Tabdog
