Go Up Go Down

I do quite a lot of detecting on a beach in Brighton ,Southeast England. It is a shingle beach and i use the E.Trac or Explorer and sometimes the X.P. Deus, and so far this year i have had ?999.69p in loose change , 3x22k gold rings ,1x18k gold ring , 2x9k gold rings, 21x silver rings, 1x 24inch 9k gold chain with mount for a 22k gold sovereign coin , 5x silver chains. Most of the finds i have sold now except a few of the latest finds and the sovereign coin which removed from the mount.
My latest finds were from thursday morning when i had ?39.75p , a 22k gold ring , 2 silver rings , 4 steel or other metal rings from Brighton beach, which i consider to be in a very over loaded shingle state! I used the Explorer XS on this hunt.
When the storms and bad weather come that should change Smiley

I will be going again in the morning (saturday) but i am not sure what the beach will be like , i could come away with nothing or it could be a bonanza.
I will be going to a club dig on sunday , on both these occasions i will use the Deus.

Chris
Dont think i have seen you there, i see quite a lot of others there though.
I will be there at around 6am. I would have used my XS but my hands are blistered a bit due to digging the shingle the last time so better have the lighter detector for this one.

I near enough max it out in auto sens, i have put a programme on but cant remember what it is .I never go by factory presets.
Will have to get back to you on the settings, but in advanced mode. Not long bought it second hand even though i started out with one in 2002 , gone back to it for beaches as i dont really want to use the E.Trac on the beach.
