Go Up Go Down

Against my better judgement I headed out to get quota on a rather dank and rainy day.  Coins were coming at a steady pace as I moaned and groaned with each one.  Done!

Headed home and much to my dismay discovered that I had miscounted and was 8 coins short of a load.  Lord love a duck!  Son of a seahorse.

Back out again feeling every day of my age.  Started seeing things..."How to train your Dragon" (photo 1)  then got a tad paranoid as the "Blueman" was following me around.  Rain continued as I limped and gimped around. Voila! Quota.

Pointed Nogo homeward and listened to my music on the memory stick.  First song was "Life is Life" by Opus which was appropriate as quota was had.  "Whole lot of Love" was next with not a chance of that happening this evening.  Could use the old excuse that I was too sore but knew that would not wash.  Then it hit me.  The hockey game was coming on.  Game 2 with the Habs up one game on the Leafs.  Ironically the last song playing while Nogo was parked was patsy Kline's "I fall to Pieces."

Once home again I counted my quota and found that once again I had done it wrong as I ended up 7 over quota along with a cupcake for my effort.  A few more coins added to the "Back to the UK in 2022 Fund."  Still sore I then remembered that I had forgotten to take my meds!

I am surprised to hear that you didn't  know
that if you followed by the blue man you lose your ability to count correctly

All that and a cupcake. The playground dragon has an expression like someone just said something incredibly stupid to it.
